Floor finishes can be installed or applied in a number of ways or mixed or poured onsite in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications. Products used can consist of tiles, sheet goods, fabrics, stone, wood, pavers or recycled and reclaimed materials. Finishes can range from simple one layer installations to complex multi-tier structures including sub-strata, sub-floors, moisture barriers, overlays, special wearing surfaces and specialty flooring such as load bearing, access and special purpose flooring.

A flooring project evolves following a process of planning, specification writing and implementation. In the planning stage Group West assists with design, product specification, colour coordination and sourcing. In addition to providing for the unique demands of institutional, commercial and industrial clients, upfront costs versus maintenance and replacement costs should be weighed.

The final product is only as good as the installation process. Our experienced installation crews and management team are able to handle projects of any size or complexity. The client approves all flooring before it is ordered or installed. Installation will be performed meeting the client’s schedule or special requirements including overnight, weekend or holiday work.
